This past weekend - zoo and pool

Just some pictures from our weekend. We went to the pool and that was amazing! Alexandra was actually really kicking and splashing away. Josie got really cold, and wasn't too thrilled, though she had a few moments where she was enjoying herself. Hopefully there will be some warmer swim class days and she will enjoy it a bit more.

Alex and I right before our "let's go to the zoo" conversation
We were watching the Kings game.

We had planned on going to the library but when we realized it was closed, we decided very last minute to go to the zoo. In 10 minutes we had packed up the girls and the car and were on our way. It was a bit hotter than expected, and we were all over dressed, but we took it easy and had a nice time. The girls loved watching the monkeys and the giraffes. They just seemed fascinated with it all.

Bath time in the big girl bath.
Finally got a non slip bath mat that works, and ditched the baby tub!

The girls this morning before story time!

Off to investigate! Who is it?

Both of the girls are crawling like champs now.

Finally a video from the end of the weekend - please don't mind the weird outfits, we got home from the zoo kind of hot and dusty so we threw on some comfy clothes since we were just an hour out from bed time anyway.

41 Weeks!

I've been keeping the blog fairly updated with videos and photos. So not a whole lot to report. This weekend we are heading to swim class again.  My mom is here so she will come along. Then we have plans for my mom and I to get some girl time in just the two of us, and maybe take the littles to the mall and give Jamey some alone time. And tomorrow we might all go to the zoo, which is apparently all set up for Halloween.

The girls are really unhappy with teething lately, they just seem to hate life and are very cranky. I also noticed that we are heading into another wonder week. If the last 41 weeks are to be believed, the girls are pretty much text book wonder week followers so it is not surprising we are already seeing some clinginess on the part of both of them, and wanting extra cuddles and attention.

Its cool though - they are cute and we don't mind :)
