January Wrap Up

Gosh what a month! It was so busy, and so much happened, good and bad. We all got sick, several times. We rang in a new year. Had a family visit. Went to the zoo. Celebrated a pair of birthdays. Josie graduated from her helmet! Celebrated Papa's birthday. The girls matured and grew like crazy. Went to some birthday parties. Started *Toddler* Story Time at the library. Sold all of our baby stuff. Bought the Cadillac of Twin Strollers (love!). Boxed up baby bottles, put away the Brezza, and cancelled the formula shipments. The girls started standing more (oh so close to walking!). I started cooking more (New Year's resolution). The girls started playing in their play room alone now. Josie got two more teeth (top two!). James and I watched the Godfather 1 and 2 for the first time. And, at 8 a.m. on our first Saturday without a weekly photo shoot, we had a photo shoot that made James and I laugh till we cried:

I couldn't pick any favorites from these, so here are ALL of them.

You better believe that many of these will become birthday gifts.

And then this happened....

This one is getting framed and put up in my office

Home Sick

I can't even believe this but here I am home in bed sick. Wasn't I just sick, for like, forever? Now here I am again? This is awful. I hope for a long period of health after this.

Before getting attacked by yet another virus, we had a good weekend. We went to a friend's house Saturday for a birthday, then James and I went out to dinner while Becky and Tom watched the girls, then we went to the park on Sunday for another first birthday party. The girls had a great time at the park and crawled around meeting everyone and playing with whatever they found. They also enjoyed eating some new foods like watermelon.

The First Birthday party was dog themed, and we caught some video of Josie saying "dog" later that day.

And being home sick isn't all bad. Here is what I got to see when I came home.
