Dad's Birthday (10/10):
I didn't get a lot of good pictures from my dad's birthday party. What happened is that we planned it for 5 p.m., which is the girls' dinner time. Well, the girls were on West Coast time so I literally had to wake them from a deep nap sleep to get ready to go. They weren't happy campers, and because of that they were a bit wired at the party - running up and down stairs and hallways and not wanting to sit and eat at all. By contrast, our last night in Ottawa they sat and ate like little angels. So that's all on me - I should have made the dinner later.
Here are some adorable photos that Becky took. Thanks aunt Becky!

Jamey's Birthday (10/11):
 |
| 10/10 we walked past the Parliament right at midnight. It was officially Jamey's birthday! |
(Not so) Lucky James, on his birthday we had a trip to the museum planned with some of my cousins and their kids - All the girls that were born within a few months of one another: Olivia, twins Annabelle and Joelle, and Alex and Josie. They got a surprise Owl t-shirt gift, and all got to dress alike -which was actually super helpful for spotting them in the Children's museum! It was also great to let them run around and play after two days of being cooped up!

Alex jealous/angry that her stroller was usurped! Alex was actually very jealous of my interacting with the other kids! Which was funny since she isn't jealous when I hold Josie! |

Whose who? They did all kind of look alike. Thankfully Josie's blond hair helped her stand out. |

Jamey's Birthday evening:
On Jamey's birthday evening, my dad came over to watch the girls, and he and I went to a wonderful fun dinner at Play Food and Wine - delicious! Loads of courses of good food and wine! We were too stuffed even for dessert. Afterwards we went on a Haunted Walk of Ottawa, which was fun enough, and got to see some fun spots in the city. We also saw this terrifyingly large spider. And the only picture of us together from that night, with the spooky late night locks behind us.
