We made it to 37 weeks! A post by Pebbles and BamBam

Hi guys!!!!! Its Pebbles and BamBam.

We wanted to let you know that our hiding out inside of mom is nothing personal, we are just doing our best to be as healthy and strong as possible before making our debut in this big bad world. Also, who leaves the comfort of the womb voluntarily?? Craziness.  Its so nice and cozy in here, and mom feeds us so well. We especially love all of the holiday goodies and comfort foods!

We just reached the 37 week mark today - that means we are full term, even for single babies! That is a great accomplishment for twins! According to various websites, we are either each the size of a winter melon, or a bunch of swiss chard. We don't know what those are, but here are some pictures:

Mom is supposed to be feeling the urge to "nest" this week but she says we are too heavy to do any real nesting, and she will finish our room when we're on the outside.  Its cool, we wont notice if the artwork isn't up on the walls. Instead of nesting, she is taking long bubble baths and watching a lot of netflix and hockey. We like the bubble baths, they are warm so we take long naps during them.

We like to remind mom that we are here, so in the evenings, BamBam likes to really get in some good stretching and yoga poses, mostly sticking their head and butt out. Our dad thinks this is hilarious to watch. We play a game with dad where when he touches mom's belly, we stop moving! HA HA HA!!!! Pebbles takes the 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. shift, and likes to do a ton of kicking and practicing for ballet auditions. Both of us are breech so you can imagine where this middle of the night kicking and footwork is happening.

So we are pretty much done cooking, and will just put on a little bit more weight each day, but not very much since we are twins and are running out of room to grow. Our brains will develop a little more each day as well. Otherwise, we are ready to meet everyone! So we will see you soon!
