We are literally somewhere over the United States as this blog is being posted. Technology is wonderful!
This week has been crazy between trying to wrap things up at work to take a week off, getting the girls stuff, and our stuff ready for our trip, and trying to celebrate the holidays with our usual traditions. And I've been sick this whole time.
We did our "KFC Christmas" tradition on Wednesday night - a tradition that began when Becky and I first lived alone in Los Angeles and KFC was the only place open on Christmas to get some take out! It was the girls' first time opening gifts and boy were they cute!!! There must be some "unwrap" instinct because both girls dove right into their packages from Becky and Tom!
Alex is getting tooth #5 (on the bottom) and you wouldn't even know it.

I am sure after all of the chaos and stress of this week that we finally made it to the airport in time, checked in ok, people were friendly and the girls are being wonderful little angels on the plane.
