What everyone cares about most, though, is knowing weights and percentiles, right? So here they are:
Lexie is 24 inches long, and weighs 14 lbs, 1 ounce. She is in the 25% percent of height, and 50% of weight! She is absolutely perfect!
Josie is 23 1/2 inches long, and weighs 11 lbs, 13 ounces. She is in the 20% for height, and 10% for weight.
Both are tracking really well on their curve and are gaining weight perfectly. We got the go ahead to start feeding them some solids at some point in the next 2 months, starting with some rice or oatmeal cereal, then green vegetables, then yellow veggies. We are going to hold off for a few more weeks but something to look forward to (and we've got the high chairs ready!)
My dad is visiting and it is such a delight seeing him with the girls. They seem to like to sit in his arms and watch hockey, and apparently he has some experience doing the football baby hold while watching hockey thanks to my brother.
